The company’s Asset Management Group (CPV AMG) has operated more than 8,000 MWs of generation across the continent since 2001 and currently has more than 3,600 MW of natural gas generation and 150 MW of wind power generation under management. As one of the early leaders in this field, CPV AMG has risen to be the premier electric generation asset management company in North America.

CPV’s Renewable Energy Company (CPV REC) also plays a significant role within CPV. Beginning in 2005, the wind division created a portfolio of more than 4,000 MW of projects which were subsequently sold in 2007. CPV REC is currently developing over 1,300 MW of additional wind power projects across North America, with plans for more.
